Our Story
Born in 2024 at Adamson University’s College of Computing and Information Technology, GabayKarera addresses the critical gap between classroom learning and industry demands. Inspired by the struggles of students navigating tech careers without guidance, we built a platform where experience meets aspiration. Gabay Karera is a mentorship and career development platform that connects students and young professionals with mentors who have knowledge and experience. It seeks to bridge the gap between education and the real world by providing users with personalized mentoring, actionable advice, and opportunities for both personal and professional growth to help achieve their goals.
The system operates on four core values: accessibility, growth, community safety, and privacy. Gabay Karera is accessible because it provides user-friendly tools that function on any device. Gabay Karera encourages growth through structured mentorship and consistent learning opportunities. Gabay Karera can also foster a sense of community through supportive and meaningful mentor–mentee relationships.
